Concern is an organization started and founded by a group of friends and like minded citizens by the doa mubarak of Aqa Moula Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb (TUS) on the 2nd of November, 2006. We have 2 main agendas
1) to work for a clean and green Mumbai with emphasis on strategic heritage structures and 2) to fight against noise pollution.
In a short span of time we have been able to arouse interest amongst the citizens and residents of Mumbai and have been able to form various active groups to work towards active involvement with the respective civic and law and order government bodies towards a better Mumbai.
One such achievement of CONCERN this year is the adoption of the Ollivant Bridge and the Hancock Bridge which are heritage bridges located in Mazagaon. We have been able to successfully achieve the beautification of the Ollivant Bridge in association with the BMC and the Print Media. Our mission towards a beautified Hancock Bridge and the Khada Parsi Statue are next on the list which we intend to achieve by the end of 2007 Inshallah !
